Dr Debbie Tan – Chiropractor

Dr Debbie always had an interest in the human body since she was young. She excelled in her studies in science at Willetton Senior High School, she pursued the study of chiropractic – fascinated in how the brain and body are connected together.
Having graduated from a 5-year program and double Bachelor’s degree at Murdoch University, her mission is to help her community lead happier, healthier lives and have a better outlook with chiropractic.
Dr Debbie enjoys being active and can be found at her local CrossFit box, Southern CrossFit, running around Shelley Bridge or at her local farmers market picking out seasonal fruit and vegetables. Dr Debbie also has a passion to teach and was a staff member at Murdoch University and Curtin University. She is in the works of creating a continuing professional development education program for chiropractors in Australia.
Dr Debbie is also the current WA State Chair for Sports Chiropractic Australia and has assisted in events such as the Chevron City to Surf, HBF Run for a Reason, Oceanic Kitesurfing Championships and Under 18s Youth Girls AFL National Championships.
Dr Debbie was awarded by the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia (WA) Young Chiropractor of the Year 2015.
